I’m Ashley! I have been thoughtfully crafting equine masterpieces throughout the Southeastern United States for over a decade, and a horse girl for many more. I believe your horse is an incredible friend, teacher, partner, work of art, and most importantly - family.
I like to work collaboratively as you know your horse best, so together we will create pieces of art that are made specially for you and the way you want to preserve your horse. Whether we’re creating traditional equine portraits or stepping outside of the box creatively, I’m here to help you feel comfortable and to capture you and your horse’s story with warmth and authenticity.
When not photographing horses, I teach fellow photographers of all skill levels through online and in-person classes and mentorships. I spend a lot of time outside around horses and firmly believe any time spent sitting in the pasture with horses counts as therapy.
More facts about me:
I love to garden and make things with my hands.
I am a beekeeper which subsequently cured my fear cute fuzzy things that can sting me.
I probably have my nose in 3-6 non-fiction books at any given time.
I love to learn new things as often as possible.
I can usually be found immersed in health, wellness, and self-growth.
I am a Certified Equine Massage Therapist. I realized the importance of massage therapy after my own journey with bodywork, dysfunctional patterns and pain relief - horses need it as much as we do.
Ashley’s Equine Art has received international recognition, sparking collaboration with Professional Designers and equestrian homeowners looking to bring meaningful equestrian-inspired art to any space.
